Nokia Handsets To Become Globally Available By The End Of Q2

Nokia had introduced some really interesting Android-powered smartphones this year, and all of them will become globally available by the end of June. Nokia actually hinted that the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will go on sale in Q2, but we didn’t have a specific timeframe. We’ve stepped in the second quarter of this year a while back, and according to the latest info, the three Android-powered smartphones will, indeed, go on sale in Q2, but it seems like we might have to wait for the very end of this quarter.

Do keep in mind that all three of those phones will become available in a number of markets all over the world, we’re not only looking at a couple of countries or anything of the sort, Nokia Mobile reported via its official Twitter handle. It will be interesting to see how is Nokia planning to conduct this launch, did the company wait so long in order to secure enough devices to sell, considering that this is a global launch we’re talking about? Well, it is possible, though it all depends on how well will the devices sell, if Nokia sees great demand for the three Android-powered handsets, they might face supply issues. On the other hand, Nokia devices are being manufactured by HMD Global, which means that Foxconn is tied into the whole deal, which probably means that there will be quite a few Nokia-branded smartphones to go around.

As most of you probably already know, Nokia had introduced three Android-powered smartphones this year, the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. All of these devices are basically budget phones, as the company’s high-end offering, the Nokia 8 or 9, depending on which rumor you opt to believe, is expected to land later this year. The Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones will be quite affordable, no matter which market we’re looking at. Nokia announced the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 during MWC back in February, while the Nokia 6 was originally announced back in January. That’s pretty much it, if you’re looking to get a budget phone with a relatively clean build of Android, one of these devices might be just right for you.
