The Nubia Z17 has been all over the news lately, and the device has just surfaced on Geekbench. The Nubia Z17 is Nubia’s upcoming flagship, and the company confirmed yesterday that the device will launch on June 1. The Nubia Z17 leaked yesterday as well, a real life image gave us an idea of what the phone will look like, and the device was also certified in China recently. We have plenty of detail when it comes to this phone at this point, and the aforementioned Geekbench listing only confirmed some of its specifications, and shared some benchmarking results with us, read on.
If you take a look at the provided image down below, you will be able to notice that the Nubia Z17 scored 1,963 points in Geekbench’s single-core test, while the phone managed to hit 6,414 points on Geekbench’s multi-core test. Now, these scores, on their own, suggest that the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835, and the listing itself only confirms it. These specs actually go hand-in-hand with the specs that were shared by earlier listings, including the aforementioned Nubia Z17 certification in China. The device will pack in 6GB of RAM, according to Geekbench, though it is possible that a 4GB RAM variant of the Nubia Z17 will also launch. Android 7.1.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on this phone, and on top of it, you’ll get Nubia’s custom UI. The Nubia Z17 will be made out of metal and glass, it seems, and it will feature a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. This phone will come with extremely thin side bezels, and a 3,100mAh non-removable battery had also been mentioned. A 16-megapixel shooter will be included on the front side of this phone, and there will be two cameras available on the back, though we still don’t know what to expect in that regard, even though a 23-megapixel shooter had been mentioned by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) a while back. The device will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, and its internal storage will be expandable it seems.
