The Nubia Z17 will be announced on June 1, which is something Nubia confirmed quite recently, and the company has just released some more info when it comes to their upcoming flagship. Company’s General Manager, Ni Fie, has confirmed that the device will ship with a pressure sensitive display, while the company essentially teased Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging for the Nubia Z17 on its official Weibo (Chinese social network) page, read on.
The company’s General Manager released a video teaser recently, and in the gallery down below you will find some screenshots taken from that video, which show you what happens when you apply some pressure on some Nubia apps, and this is the Nubia Z17 we’re talking about, of course. Once you apply some pressure on the calendar icon, for example, you will get a new context menu which will offer you a number of useful options. The Nubia Z17 is actually expected to ship with Nubia UI 5.0 skin, so you can expect a number of new features as well. Now, as far as Quick Charge 4.0 is concerned, Nubia confirmed that through a teaser image that you can also check out in the gallery down below. The company is clearly teasing Quick Charge 4.0 with this image, as you will notice the number ‘4’ above the phone, and the charging icon is present on its display, while the Snapdragon branding is located in the upper portion of that image. Quick Charge 4.0 is faster and more efficient than Quick Charge 3.0, it’s about 20 percent faster, and 30 percent more efficient. That being said, the Nubia Z17 will be the first smartphone to ship with Quick Charge 4.0, if this teaser represents what we think it represents.
The Nubia Z17 will sport a 5.5-inch display, while it will pack in 4GB / 6GB of internal storage. The device will be made out of metal and glass, while it will feature a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC will fuel this smartphone, and Android Nougat will come pre-installed on it with the company’s Nubia UI 5.0 skin on top of it. The phone is launching really soon, stay tuned.
