The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will be announced later this year, and its partial specs have just leaked. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is the company’s current flagship, and it’s quite powerful, not only does it ship with 6GB of RAM, but it also utilizes the Snapdragon 835, and it is made out of metal and glass, or metal and ceramic, depending on the variant. Well, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will be the company’s new flagship phablet, and it will, almost certainly, be more powerful than the Xiaomi Mi 6, read on.
According to the newly surfaced info, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will feature a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) curved AMOLED display, and Samsung will be the provider of such displays for Xiaomi. The device will be announced in two variants, if ‘sources’ are to be believed, one variant will ship with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, while the other one will pack in 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will sport two camera snappers on the back, and the phone will offer even better image quality than the Mi 6, and the Xiaomi Mi 6 is able to provide truly stunning images with its dual camera setup. A 4,070mAh non-removable battery will also be included in this package, and the phone will utilize Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging technology, so you’ll be able to recharge the Mi Note 3’s battery really fast.
Now, on top of everything we’ve mentioned, it is rumored that the Mi Note 3 will land next month, and that it will be the first smartphone to ship with Xiaomi MIUI 9 OS, which is based on Android, of course. Do take all of this info with a grain of salt, though, as we’re not exactly sure who is the source of these rumors, Xiaomi Today only mentions ‘sources’. In addition to that, it is not that likely that the Mi Note 3 will launch in June, as its predecessor arrived in October last year, so it is more likely that Xiaomi is planning to launch it in Q4 this year, as the Mi 6 launched last months, so it might be wise to wait with the release of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3.
