Here’s the Blue Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus from the back, the next color that Samsung will presumably offer for both versions of its most recent flagship smartphone. This color is headed to the U.S. which means U.S. consumers will eventually be able to purchase this color option for use, though there are some points worth noting. It isn’t clear which retailers will carry this color in their shops or sell it on their websites. That being said, Samsung is likely to sell it on its own website, though again this has not been confirmed.
It’s also not clear what the release date will be for the Blue model so it could be sometime soon or it could be later on in the year. This color Blue is similar to the Coral Blue version of the Galaxy S7 Edge that was launched, though this color of the Galaxy S8 Galaxy S8 Plus does look a little bit darker, and the frame of the Galaxy S7 Edge was a sort of brushed gold color, while the frame color in this image seems to match the color of the phones.
This isn’t the first time that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been shown in this color. Earlier this year towards the end of March a leaked image surfaced of the Blue Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus from the front, although this made it much harder to see the what the actual color looked like as you could barely even see the frame. The Blue color has also leaked a couple of other times both before and after the post of the front in March, though these images were also smaller than today’s image, which provides a better look at the color up close as it’s much more clear. The blue color of the phone should be no more cost-wise than the other available colors which includes the Midnight Black, the Orchid Gray, and the Arctic Silver options. Now that what appears to be an official press render of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in Blue has popped up, perhaps the availability won’t be too far off.
