A new Meizu PRO 7 render has just surfaced, and it more or less confirms recent leaks. We have seen several Meizu PRO 7 leaks recently, all of which suggested that the device will sport a secondary display on its back. Well, this is the first render that actually shows us the device on which that secondary display is turned on. As you can see, either time or date are shown off on the back of the device, and the secondary display is placed right below the dual camera setup on this smartphone.
The Meizu PRO 7 which is shown off here seems to be made out of metal, just like its predecessor, and its antenna bands are also quite visible in the upper and lower portions of its back side. The device’s power / lock, volume up and volume down buttons can be found on the right, and the company’s mBack multifunctional key is placed below the display. This button acts as a physical home key and a capacitive back button, while you can also lock the display by long pressing it. It’s also worth noting that the mBack button serves as a fingerprint scanner as well, and an LED flash can be found next to the phone’s dual camera setup on the back. The company’s branding is imprinted on the back of this smartphone in a vertical alignment, and the phone’s main display comes with curved edges. Regarding the device’s secondary display, it seems like this will be black and white display, or something of the sort, but we cannot confirm that just yet.
The Meizu PRO 7 is expected to sport a 5.2-inch or a 5.5-inch fullHD or QHD AMOLED display, along with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The device will probably ship with MediaTek’s Helio X30 64-bit deca-core processor, and chances are that two 12-megapixel cameras will be placed on the back of this smartphone. A single 16-megapixel snapper is expected on the front side of the Meizu PRO 7, and either Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or Android 7.0 / 7.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on the Meizu PRO 7, along with Meizu’s custom UI (Flyme OS). The Meizu PRO 7 is expected to land in the near future, but it is still not known when exactly, so stay tuned.
