Meizu PRO 7's Secondary, E-Ink Display Leaks With More Info

The Meizu PRO 7 has just leaked yet again, and it’s starting to look like this is an official design of the device, as we’ve seen quite a few such renders in the last week or so, though this one brings us most info, that’s for sure. If you take a look at the provided image, you will see the back side of the Meizu PRO 7, and the device’s secondary display. Now, this time around, we get to see quite a few info on that display, including some notifications, date, time and a missed call, or something of the sort.

Now, it seems like the Meizu PRO 7 will be using an E-ink technology on this secondary display, which means we’re essentially looking at a black and white display, which is not a bad thing considering it will be a battery sipper. It seems like this display will be able to show off quite a bit of info, and you’ll be able to have more than one page of info there, at least that’s what those three dots down below are suggesting. It is still unknown whether consumers will be able to customize this display to their liking, but chances are that some sort of customization will be available. Now, this display does not take up the whole back side of the phone, it is placed below the phone’s dual camera setup, and next to those two camera sensors, you’ll notice dual-LED, dual-tone flash. Antenna bands are visible in the upper and lower portion of the phone’s back as well, and you will notice that the back side of the phone is curved. Meizu’s branding is located on the back of the device as well, it’s placed in the lower right portion of its back, as you can see in the provided image.

Now, the Meizu PRO 7 is expected to arrive in the near future, though it is still unknown when exactly. The device will probably sport a 5.2-inch fullHD or QHD AMOLED primary display, along with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. MediaTek’s Helio X30 64-bit deca-core SoC will fuel this smartphone, and the phone will probably sport a battery that is at least 3,000mAh big. A Type-C USB port will be placed on the bottom of this smartphone, and Android Marshmallow or Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the device, along with the company’s Flyme OS skin.
