The OnePlus 5’s announcement is right around the corner, and the phone’s wallpapers have just been shared on OnePlus’ official forums. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will find 7 wallpapers in total, and one of those wallpapers we’ve already seen yesterday when the company’s CEO shared an image of HydrogenOS running on the OnePlus 5, which actually confirmed the resolution of the OnePlus 5’s display. All of the provided wallpapers come in a fullHD (1920 x 1080) resolution, which is yet another confirmation that the OnePlus 5 will ship with a fullHD display, just like its predecessors. It’s also worth noting that the wallpapers that are provided by the source are quite colorful, which could mean that the device will ship with an AMOLED panel, just like the OnePlus 3(T). You can check out all of the wallpapers in the gallery down below, though those images are cropped, if you’d like to get them in full size (1920 x 1080), click here, or you can download them via the source link down below.
That being said, the OnePlus 5 is expected to arrive on June 15 or June 20, depending on which leak you believe in the most. Both of those dates leaked recently, and June 15 even leaked several times, several seemingly official posters leaked. The company already confirmed quite a few pieces of info when it comes to the OnePlus 5, we know that the device will sport a fullHD display, that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835, that it will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top, and that its fingerprint scanner will be placed up front. OnePlus had also suggested that the phone will be smaller than its predecessor, hinting at the same display size, while the phone’s general footprint will be smaller. The OnePlus 5 will sport either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and it will arrive in several internal storage variants, just like its predecessors. OnePlus had also partnered up with DxO recently, DxO is helping OnePlus improve the camera on the OnePlus 5, well, cameras, as the OnePlus 5 will almost certainly sport a dual camera setup on the back.
That is more or less it, for now, the device will be announced in the next week or two, and more info will probably surface soon as well, we’re seeing new OnePlus 5 rumors, leaks and official confirmations on a daily basis, so stay tuned.
