Report: Nokia 3, 5 And 6 To Launch In Finland Later Today

HMD Global had launched the all-new Nokia 3310 (2017) in Finland back in May, and the company’s three Nokia-branded Android devices will land later today it seems. Finland is Nokia’s home country, which is why this launch is probably exciting for many people over there, despite the fact HMD Global is now running Nokia, but a number of Nokia employees that worked for the company before are now involved in the process.

Do keep in mind that this is not an official confirmation or anything of the sort, but only a report, which seems to be quite accurate, if the source is to be believed. As a reminder, Nokia is planning to launch three devices in Finland, the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, all of which had been announced earlier this year. All of these phones are Nokia’s affordable offerings, and the Nokia 6 is the most powerful out of the bunch. The Nokia 6 was originally announced back in January in China, while the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 were announced during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, which is where Nokia also announced the global availability of all of these devices. All of Nokia’s devices which were announced this year will become available all over the world, and the company is slowly expanding its reach, it will be interesting to see how many devices will Nokia / HMD Global be able to sell by the end of 2017.

The Nokia 6 is a smartphone which comes with almost stock Android, and the same can be said for the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 as well. The Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch fullHD display, 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core SoC, and it packs in a 3,000mAh battery. You can read more about the Nokia 6 by clicking here. The Nokia 5 and Nokia 3, on the other hand, sports 5.2-inch and 5-inch displays, respectively. Both phones come with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The Nokia 5 is fueled by the Snapdragon 430, while the Nokia 3 comes with the MediaTek MT6737 SoC, and it is the most affordable Android-powered Nokia-branded smartphone that got released this year.
