Three color variants of the OPPO R11 have leaked online on Thursday, with newly uncovered renders showing the device in black, gold, and pink. All of the newly revealed models feature a glossy finish and regularly sized bezels, as well as rounded case corners which are in line with contemporary smartphone design practices. The eight leaked renders that can be seen in the gallery beneath this writing depict a device that has already been seen in a number of previous leaks, once again suggesting that the upcoming OPPO-branded device will sport a dual camera setup with horizontal arrangement in the top-left corner of its back panel accompanied by a conventional LED flash unit placed to its right. The rear plate of the device shows no signs of a fingerprint reader, indicating that the scanner will be embedded into the physical Home button of the OPPO R11. The renders also show that the power key will be placed on the right edge of the phone’s case, opposite of its two volume buttons.
The top bezel of the device houses a single-lens camera setup that previous reports suggested is a 20-megapixel unit, adding that the primary camera system of the handset consists of a 20-megapixel sensor and a 16-megapixel one. Apart from the three variants of the phone shown below, the Chinese original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is also said to be working on a silver variation of the OPPO R11. Numerous previous rumors about the handset suggested that the next OPPO-branded smartphone will boast a 5.5-inch display panel with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and be powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 660, Qualcomm’s new mid-range system-on-chip (SoC) that was announced earlier this year. The device is said to feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal flash memory that is though to be expandable by at least 128GB via a microSD card slot. The OPPO R11 will house a 3,000mAh battery that won’t be removable, some industry insiders claimed earlier this year.
Apart from the OPPO R11, the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer is also rumored to be working on the OPPO R11 Plus that’s expected to ship with a 6-inch Full HD screen, 6GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. Both devices will run some build of Android Nougat enhanced with the Funtouch ColorOS 3.1 and should be officially announced in the coming weeks.
