Motorola’s upcoming Moto E4 has popped up in a new white and gold color option, alongside new pictures of previously seen color variants, thanks to prominent leaker Roland Quandt of WinFuture. The new option mimics the white Moto Z, being a stark white around front, with a soft gold rim and back wrapped around the front panel. The antenna bands on this version are a slightly darker gold color, rather than the chrome or gunmetal options seen on other variants. Aside from that, it maintains the same look as the other color variants, two of which posed for a number of new pictures in this leak. To be specific, the blue and space gray versions of the phone are shown off in a few new high-quality press renders. The new renders are consistent with previous leaks; the two versions both bear a black front panel, then their color of choice around the back and sides, along with complimentary antenna bands. All three versions, of course, bear a Moto logo where the distinctive Moto dimple was on older models, which is the same color as the back, but in a darker shade.
The Moto E4 has previously leaked in a number of configurations, but this is the first time that the internet has gotten a good look at the white version. The Moto E4 Plus, on the other hand, has yet to be seen in a white variant, though there are pictures of a wraparound gold version that bear a striking similarity to the vanilla Moto E4’s white version, sans the white front panel.
To recap on the Moto E4’s specs, leaks and rumors thus far point to a 5-inch 720p screen, under which users will find a MediaTek MT6737M SoC clocked to 1.3GHz. The RAM is said to be 2GB, while internal storage is reported to be 16GB, with a MicroSD card slot on board to supplement that amount. The camera on the back is an 8MP unit, while a 5MP snapper sits around front for selfie duty. A 2,800mAh battery promises to keep the power-sipping processor and meager screen going for a number of hours on a single charge, and the latest power consumption optimizations in Android 7.1.1 Nougat will be helping the phone with that goal.
