The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship phablet, and the device’s alleged render just popped up on GearBest. If you take a look at the provided image, you will probably notice that this render is quite similar to the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, well, it is, but the home key on this, alleged, Mi Note 3 handset is visibly smaller. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see the back side of this phone, but you will also notice that the volume up, volume down and power / lock keys are located on the right-hand side of this handset, and that its display is curved.
In addition to showing off this black version of the device, GearBest also mentioned that the device will come with Android 7.1, and that it will sport a 12-megapixel camera on its back, and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Now, that is a bit odd, considering that the Xiaomi Mi 6 ships with a dual camera setup on the back, and the same is expected for the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. In addition to that, the phone already has a home key below the display, why would Xiaomi implement a fingerprint scanner on the back? All in all, chances are that either this info is wrong, or this image is not legit, and it’s possible that both are off. GearBest also lists that the phone is coming in Black, Gold and Silver color variants, though take this info with a grain of salt as well, considering none of this info can be confirmed just yet. All in all, if you’d like to stay up to date and get this phone once it becomes available, you can get GearBest to e-mail you with updated, just hit the ‘Arrival Notice’ button when you visit the source link down below.
A rumor surfaced last month, suggesting that the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will launch in June, though that seems a bit early for this phablet to land, though it’s possible. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was announced in October last year, and released in November, so it’s more likely that the Mi Note 3 will land in September or October. The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, while it will pack in 6GB of RAM, most probably. The device will ship with a 5.7-inch QHD display, and it will probably be made out of metal and glass.
