You Can Watch A Stork's Journey For Free On Play Movies & TV

If you are looking for a movie to watch over the weekend, you might want to check out A Stork’s Journey. Specifically, you will want to check it out through Google Play Movies & TV, as it is currently free to watch. Which is more notable than your average ‘free movie’ as this movie is not due to be released in the US until June 30, 2017. Making A Stork’s Journey available for Play Movies & TV customers almost an entire month before it’s scheduled release. As is probably to be expected, this is a limited time affair, and Google has not explicitly specified when the promotion will end. The promotion did go live yesterday, June 1, so those who do want to take advantage of this deal, will likely want to, sooner rather than later.

As for the movie itself, this one might not be for everyone, although it is a movie designed to be watched by anyone, Which does mean it could be an ideal filler option for the weekend for younger family member, or the family as a whole. The general premise behind A Stork’s Journey, is the ongoing struggle of a sparrow named Richard who has always believed himself to be a stork – largely due to being raised by storks since he was orphaned at birth. A revelation that becomes all too obvious when the migratory nature of storks takes effect during the winter months and Richard is left behind, along with the other sparrows.

Of course, a sparrow-who-thinks-he-is-a-stork is unlikely to let something like not being a stork get in his way. Which is how the movie pans out with Richard venturing off on his own stork migration to be with the other storks. For those who need more of an insight into what is on offer, check out the trailer in full below. While for those who are on the lookout for something a little different this weekend, Play Movies & TV also has a number of other titles available to rent for $0.99. Although, in spite of the wide selection of 99 cents titles on offer, you can only grab one at that price.
