Google Play Movies & TV have brought back its popular $0.99 movie rental sale (although it appears to not be completely live for everyone just yet, so some are seeing this while others are not). Allowing customers to rent virtually any movie in their catalog for just $0.99, which is a fantastic price, and much lower than the typical rate of around $4.99 for a rental. This sale is good through July 7th, 2017, so if you’ve been wanting to rent a new movie, now is the time to do so. Additionally, this offer is only good for one use. That means each account that has Google Play access will be able to use it just once, then rental prices go back to their regular prices.
There are many great movies available in this sale right now. Including recent releases like Logan, Get Out, Moana, xXx: Return of Xander Cage and many others. You are able to rent movies in standard definition or HD for the same price, of $0.99. Unfortunately, you aren’t able to rent movies in 4K quality for that price. But you do still have the option of buying movies in 4K as well as HD and SD. Of course, that’s only for movies that are available in 4K, like The Great Wall with Matt Damon. Google does have a number of movies available on the promotion page that are $0.99, but it’s important to remember that every movie is available for this price. That includes new releases, classics and everything in between.

So you are able to rent a movie and watch it on your Android smartphone, your iPhone, your iPad, Android Tablet, Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, PlayStation 4 and many other devices. So you are able to rent a movie and watch it on the big screen over your internet connection. If you happen to have a somewhat slow connection, you may want to download the movie first before watching it, so that it doesn’t buffer. When you rent a movie, you have 30 days to watch it. However, once you start watching it, you have 24 hours to finish watching before it is taken out of your Google Play account, and you’ll need to rent it again or buy it, to watch it again.
