BlackBerry Motion Appears On A Dutch Retailer's Website

The BlackBerry Motion was announced a couple of days ago, and it was announced that the phone will cost $460 in UAE and Saudi Arabia, well, now the phone also surfaced on a Dutch retailer, Belsimpel. The BlackBerry Motion is listed for €469 over at this Dutch retailer, and it’s worth noting that it’s possible that this will be its price in Europe once TCL starts selling it officially, if that ever happens, that is.

It’s worth noting that Belsimpel does not ship its phone all over the world, not even all over Europe, though the company does ship them to the Netherlands and Belgium. Having said that, the BlackBerry Motion is not yet available for purchase from Belsimpel, €469 is its estimated price point by the retailer, which means that the phone will probably be available soon. Now, the BlackBerry Motion is TCL’s new phone which does not come with a full physical QWERTY keyboard, this is more of a regular smartphone. The device comes with a rubbery back for better grip, while all of its buttons are placed on the right. The phone comes with regular power / lock, volume up and volume down keys, and in additional to that, you are getting an extra physical key, for convenience. This phone sports a front-facing fingerprint scanner, and that fingerprint scanner doubles as a home key, next to which you will notice two capacitive buttons.

The BlackBerry Motion is made out of metal, for the most part, and it sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core processor, while it packs in 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Android 7.1 Nougat comes pre-installed on this phone, and on top of it, you’re getting BlackBerry’s custom UI. A 4,000mAh non-removable battery is also a part of this package, and a 12-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone. An 8-megapixel camera can be found on the front side of the BlackBerry Motion, while this handset is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance. It’s also worth noting that the BlackBerry Motion comes with two SIM card slots, and it does offer 4G LTE connectivity, of course.
