Honor has just announced two new tablets for the Indian market, the Honor MediaPad T3 and MediaPad T3 10. These two tablets were announced along with the Honor 9i, which we’ve talked about earlier, and both of these tablets are made out of metal. In addition to that, both devices come with Microsoft Office pre-installed, and you’re also getting 4G LTE support here, with voice calling capabilities. The main difference between these two tablets comes down to their size, let’s talk more about what they have to offer, shall we.
The Honor MediaPad T3 sports an 8-inch (1280 x 800) IPS display, while the MediaPad T3 10 comes with a 9.6-inch (1280 x 800) IPS panel. Having that in mind, both tablets are fueled by the same processor, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425, which comes with the Adreno 308 GPU. Interestingly enough, both of these tablets sport the very same battery, they both come with a 4,800mAh non-removable battery. The MediaPad T3 packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage, while the MediaPad T3 10 comes in both 2GB and 3GB RAM variants, which ship with 16GB and 32GB of expandable storage, respectively. Both tablets feature a 5-megapixel shooter on their back sides, while a 2-megapixel camera is included on the front side of both of these devices. Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on Honor’s new tablets, and on top of it, you’ll get Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.1 skin. Bluetooth 4.1 is also included in both of these tablets, and so is WI-Fi b/g/n.
The Honor MediaPad T3 measures 211.07 x 124.65 x 7.95mm, while it weighs 350 grams. The MediaPad T3 10, on the other hand, measures 229.8 x 159.8 x 7.95mm, and weighs 460 grams. The Honor MediaPad T3 costs Rs. 12,999 ($200) in India, while the two variants of the MediaPad T3 10 are priced at Rs. 14,999 ($230) and Rs. 16,999 ($261) in the country. It’s also worth noting that the MediaPad T3 10 is currently discounted at Flipkart, as its two variants are priced at Rs. 12,999 ($200) and Rs. 14,999 ($230), respectively, just in case you’re interested.
