The handset sports a 5.5-inch FullHD Super AMOLED display and a 3,000mAh battery to keep the device’s lights on. The device supports Quick Charge 3.0 for faster top-ups of the device. The handset ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat pre-installed, although Lenovo will update the smartphone to Android 8.0 Oreo within the next few months. Like the other Moto Z devices, the Moto Z2 Play is compatible with the Moto Mods, accessories that directly attach to the POGO pins found at the back of the device. The TurboPower pack provides an additional 3,490mAh battery capacity to the handset, while the JBL SoundBoost 2 speaker aims to improve the audio experience of the device.
