OtterBox has announced a bunch of new cases for the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, and all of those cases are now available for Google’s new phones. The company has introduced Symmetry Series and Defender Series cases for the two phones, and under those two series, there are a number of cases for you to check out. All of these cases can now be purchased from Amazon, read on if you’re interested.
When it comes to the Symmetry series, Otterbox has dropped three cases for each smartphone, the Symmetry Series case, the Symmetry Series Clear case and the Symmetry Series Clear Graphics case. The first case comes in purple and red combination, while it is also available in solid black, while the second one is see-through. The third case actually combines white and purple color in order to create a rather interesting pattern. These three cases are priced at $39.95, $39.95 and $44.95 for the Pixel 2, respectively, while the cost $49.95, $49.95 and $54.95 for the Pixel 2 XL, respectively. Now, the company has announced ‘only’ one case in the ‘Defender Series’, and this case actually adds plenty of protection for the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, which is something you’ll notice the moment you lay your eyes on it. This case is certified for drop protection, and it comes in two color variants, solid black and a combination of black and purple colors. The Defender Series case for the Pixel 2 can be purchased for $49.95, while that very same case for the Pixel 2 XL costs $59.95.
The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are made out of metal, while both phones have a bit of glass on the back. The Pixel 2 XL sports considerably thinner bezels than the Pixel 2, but it also comes with a considerably larger display. Both phones are fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, and both of them pack in 4GB of RAM, and a rather capable 12.2-megapixel shooter on the back. Android 8.0 Oreo comes pre-installed on both of these smartphones, and Bluetooth 5.0 is also a part of the package.
