Elephone has been revealing its upcoming Elephone S9 bit-by-bit over the last couple of weeks, and the company has just released a new image of its upcoming handset. If you take a look at the provided image above, you will see a red-colored Elephone S9, well, its back side, that is. Now, as you can see, the back side of this phone reflects light as some other phones out there, and it looks really sleek at the same time. The company’s logo sits on the back as well, as do two of the device’s cameras, and a fingerprint scanner which is placed right below those two cameras.
Having said that, Elephone did mention that this may not be the final color of the smartphone, but that it’s close to it, as the company says that they are constantly tweaking it in order to be perfect once the phone gets announced. The company’s Limited Edition Red Elephone S8 handset turned out to be quite popular with consumers, which is why the company is planning to release a Red variant of the Elephone S9, amongst other color options, of course. Before we continue talking about the Elephone S9, it’s worth saying that the Elephone S8 is available for $259.99 until December 25, and if you’re interested, check out the link provided down below, while we’ve also embedded a video which shows off all three colors of the Elephone S8. That being said, we still do not know when will the Elephone S9 launch, but considering how much info the company released thus far, the device is expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
Elephone will release two variants of the Elephone S9, the regular Elephone S9 model, and the Elephone S9 Pro. The company recently confirmed that the Elephone S9 Pro will support wireless charging, and that both devices will launch with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the Elephone S9, and the phone will sport a flexible OLED display, with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Judging by the images the company shared thus far, the phone’s display will be curved on the sides, similar to what we’ve seen from Samsung’s flagship handsets. We’ll keep you posted when it comes to the Elephone S9, but you can also visit the company’s Facebook page for more info.
