Honor has just re-announced its Honor 7X handset in London, UK, after the device launched in China back in October. The Honor 7X is a mid-range phone, in case you were wondering. This is the company’s all-new mid-range smartphone, which adopts considerably thinner bezels than its predecessor, and also a larger display, which Honor opted for as they managed to trim down those bezels, and not make the phone significantly larger.
The Honor 7X is made out of metal, it sports a dual camera setup on the back, while you’ll also find a fingerprint scanner below those two cameras. Honor says that they actually worked on this design for 15 months in order to perfect it. This handset sports rather thin bezels, while the Honor branding is placed below the phone’s display, and also on the back of the device. The phone comes in several color options, Black, Blue, and Gold, all of which you can check out in the gallery down below. The Honor 7X features a 5.93-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, while it packs in 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of expandable storage (expandable up to 256GB). The Honor 7X is fueled by the Kirin 659 64-bit octa-core SoC, Huawei’s mid-range processor. Now, as far as cameras are concerned, the Honor 7X comes with 16 and 2-megapixel main shooters on the back, both of which protrude a bit on the back, and next to them you’ll notice an LED flash. As far as the phone’s front-facing shooter goes, you’re getting an 8-megapixel sensor, which comes with a number of software features attached to its performance, like the Portrait Mode, for example. The Honor 7X packs in a 3,340mAh non-removable battery on the inside, and you can utilize fast charging on this phone.
That being said, the company did not release any info when it comes to the phone’s availability or pricing, at least not yet. The Honor 7X is a mid-range phone, and it will arrive with a rather affordable price tag, though, so stay tuned if you’re interested, as we’ll report back as soon as Honor shares more info.
