Huawei P11 Lite Mockups Surface Showing Almost No Bezels

Huawei P11 Lite mockups have surfaced online showing almost no bezels. The mockups are showing for a couple of different items on the Amazon Japan website, including item listings for two glass screen protectors for the display and some cases for the phone. Considering these are mockups it’s not guaranteed that this will be the final design for Huawei’s upcoming flagship, which is suspected to show up during Mobile World Congress 2018 that will end up taking place in February.

While the item listings don’t show all of the design of the phone there are a few things to pick out from the images. Most notably are the different colors that are shown. Huawei is usually known for putting out phones in multiple colors, and in the case of the P11 Lite it looks as if Huawei is going to release the phone in a black model, as well a gold model which you can see above. The colors of the front glass part of the display are different colors too based on the colors of the frame. For example, the black frame model comes with matching black glass, while the gold frame comes with white glass.

In addition to the mockups of the phone showing with the glass screen protectors there are also mockups showing for a couple of different cases for the P11 Lite, though the design of the phone looks a little bit different here. In the screen protector image, the volume buttons and power button are on the left side of the device, while they’re on the right side of the frame in the image of the case. Another noticeable difference is that the near bezel-free display of the phone is missing. Instead, the bezels are minimal but they’re more prominent than in the image above, which simply draws attention to the fact that there’s no way to know for sure what Huawei’s design will be for the phone yet. The image above looks like it takes heavy inspiration from Apple’s iPhone X, while the two case images suggest that Huawei is using more of its own design language without taking too much inspiration from other brands and devices.
