The Huawei P11 is expected to arrive during next year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which means it will be announced in the first quarter of the year, and some new info regarding the device just surfaced. According to the UAProf (User Agent Profile) leak, the Huawei P11 will sport a fullHD display, not a fullHD+ panel or anything of the sort, which means its display will sport a regular 16:9 aspect ratio. Do keep in mind that this is not definite proof that the Huawei P11 will sport a fullHD display, it is easily possible that the company will opt for a fullHD+ display in the end.
In any case, the Huawei P11 may even be released under the Huawei P20 name, as a recent report suggested. The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus handsets have been announced earlier this year, and they were both Huawei’s flagship offerings when they were introduced, and the same will happen with the Huawei P11 (or P20), and its sibling when they drop next year. Now, the Huawei P11 is expected to sport considerably thinner bezels than its predecessor, as the Huawei P10 came with a 5.1-inch display, but it sported quite a bit of bezel, so it was compact but it had a relatively small display for today’s standards. Chances are that Huawei will include an 18:9 display in the Huawei P11, and that the phone will sport thinner bezels, but a larger panel… so it could end up sporting a similar footprint to the Huawei P10, but a larger display. We are only guessing at this point, as not a single proper leak of the Huawei P11 appeared just yet, though it probably will in the coming weeks.
The Huawei P11 will, almost certainly, be fueled by Huawei’s all-new flagship processor, the Kirin 970, which is already fueling the Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and the PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 10, Huawei’s flagship phablets. The Huawei P11 will probably also come with 6GB of RAM, and the device will ship with Android Oreo out of the box, while the company’s Emotion UI 8.0 (or perhaps even 8.1) skin will be included on top of Google’s operating system. Leica’s lenses will make a comeback as well, and the Huawei P11 is rumored to sport three cameras on the back, though that’s not that likely.
