The Samsung Galaxy S9 is expected to arrive in the first half of next year, and some rather interesting info just surfaced. The source has provided an alleged list of official cases that Samsung is planning to launch alongside the Galaxy S9 (and its Galaxy S9 Plus sibling). This list consists out of six cases, and it’s still unknown whether all of these cases will be announced at the same time as the device itself or not, but that’s not exactly all that important at the moment.
The Alcantara Cover EF-XG960A / EF-XG965A is the first case on this list, and it will come in Black, Blue, Mint, and Red color variants. This case actually launched alongside the Galaxy S8 as well, so chances are that most of you already know what it is. This case uses a suede-like material, and it’s quite grippy. The second case in the list is the Clear View Cover Ef-ZG960C / EF-ZG965C, and it will arrive in Blue, Gold and Purple color variants. This case also launched alongside the Galaxy S8, it’s a flip case, through which you can see the phone’s display, and it can also serve you as a stand when you’re watching a video or something of the sort. The LED Flip Wallet EF-NG960P / EF-NG965P will be available in a purple color, and this case is somewhat similar to the Clear View Cover, it can hold your credit card on the inside, and it can also show you the time, and some other basic info. This case is not see-through, or anything of the sort, though, so keep that in mind.
The Hyperknit Cover EF-GG960F / EF-GG965F is next in line, and it will arrive in Red and Gray color variants. This case did not launch alongside the Galaxy S8 or any other Samsung phone, so we don’t really know what to expect here. The Protective Standing Cover EF-RG960C / EF-RG965C will arrive in Black and Silver color, this is a grippy case which comes with a kickstand on the back. The last case on this list is the Silicone Cover EF-PG960T / EF-PG965T, and it will arrive in Blue, Gray and Pink color variants. This is your regular silicone cover for the phone, it’s also a case that we’ve seen already, as it was released for the Galaxy S8. That’s pretty much it, we’ll have to wait until the company releases the Galaxy S9 in order to see how accurate this info is, though, of course.
