OUKITEL K6 Coming With 6GB Of RAM, Big Battery, 18:9 Display

OUKITEL has just announced that it is planning to release a new smartphone in the near future, the OUKITEL K6. This smartphone will be made out of metal and glass, it will sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and above it will sit the phone’s dual camera setup. The back side of the device will be curved on the sides, and a dual-LED flash will also be included on the back of the device.

Now, the company has revealed what the phone will look like, as you can see, and in addition to that, OUKITEL has shared some spec info for the device, and the company has also published a promo video for this smartphone. The OUKITEL K6 actually resembles the K8000 a bit (save for the glass back and fingerprint scanner placement). This smartphone will actually be rather well-specced, it is expected to sport a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) InCell display (so we’re looking at an 18:9 display aspect ratio), while you’ll also get 6GB of RAm and 64GB of internal storage as part of this package. MediaTek’s Helio P23 64-bit octa-core SoC will fuel this smartphone, and it will be clocked at 2GHz. Android 7.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on the phone, and in collaboration with the aforementioned specs, this phone should be able to handle pretty much anything you throw at it. The device will utilize on-screen buttons, and its back side will be highly reflective it seems. OUKITEL also wanted to emphasize that NFC will be a part of this package as well, in case you were wondering. Now, we do not know what size will the phone’s battery be, but OUKITEL did say that the K6 will ship with a ‘big battery’, and considering that other K-series devices come with truly big battery packs, that is a given. The OUKITEL K6 may arrive with a 6,000mAh battery pack, if the company’s previous smartphone names are any indication.

Now, the company did not say when exactly will the OUKITEL K6 land, but it did mention that it will arrive ‘for Christmas’, so we’re not sure if the company means exactly on Christmas, or will it available in time for Christmas. In any case, the device is coming soon, and it will be rather affordable it seems, so stay tuned.
