OUKITEL is back with a new OUKITEL K6 promo video, this time around, the company is promoting the phone’s camera. In the video which is embedded down below, you will not only be able to see the OUKITEL K6’s camera UI, but will also be able to check out various shooting modes that the camera is offering. Now, before we begin, it’s worth noting that the OUKITEL K6 comes with two rear-facing snappers, 21-megapixel, and 8-megapixel shooters, while 13 and 8-megapixel cameras are available on the front side of this device, which essentially means that the phone ships with four cameras.
In any case, the layout of the OUKITEL K6’s camera UI is very clean, you have a shutter key which resembles the one on OxygenOS, additional options are in the top right corner, camera switch button is at the top of the display, and the flash toggle is in the top left corner. There are options for switching between different modes right above the shutter key, so you can basically switch from the camera to video using those options, though you can also activate the phone’s blur mode, panorama mode, and so on. OUKITEL did share some camera samples in the provided video, and truth be told, these images look rather okay. Saturation seems to be a bit strong in some images, but all in all, there’s plenty of detail in those images, even though some pictures are overexposed. Camera recording seems to be a bit shaky, but you can’t really ask for much more at this price point.
Now, at the end of this video, OUKITEL gives you a chance to take a closer look at the device itself. This smartphone is made out of metal and glass, while it sports a dual camera setup on the back, and a fingerprint scanner is placed below those two cameras. The OUKITEL K6’s physical keys are placed on the right, while the phone sports a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) InCell display, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The device is fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor, while it sports a 6,300mAh non-removable battery. This phone also comes with a dual SIM setup, and Android 7.1 Nougat comes out of the box. The OUKITEL K6 is still available for pre-order for $199.99 from Banggood, though its price will go back up to $269.99 after the pre-sale period ends.
