Back in September last year, Vivo had announced its Vivo X20 and X20 Plus handsets, and now the company unveiled a new color variant of the Vivo X20, the Dreamy Pink Vivo X20. The Vivo X20 originally arrive in Matte Black, Gold, and Rose Gold color options, and the new Dreamy Pink variant is now here as well. It is also worth noting that Blue, Red, and Black with Gold color variants were also made available somewhere between September and now, in case you were wondering. In any case, along with announcing the Dreamy Pink Vivo X20, the company also said that the phone will become available for pre-order starting on January 16 in China.
The Dreamy Pink color variant is somewhat different than the Rose Gold model Vivo introduced last year, and it seems like this handset is made for women, at least based on Vivo’s official renders which contain rose petals, perfumes, etc. The Dreamy Pink Vivo X20 is priced at 2,998 Yuan ($465) in China, and as far as the general design and specs are concerned, this phone is identical to the other Vivo X20 variants. The device is made out of metal, it sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a dual camera setup is located on its back as well. Vivo’s branding is placed right below the phone’s fingerprint scanner, and the device sports really thin bezels around its display. The phone’s display comes with rounded corners, and all they physical keys can be found on the right-hand side of this smartphone. The device sports a 6.01-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) AMOLED display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, while you will find a 3,250mAh non-removable battery on the inside of the Vivo X20.
Android 7.1.1 Nougat comes pre-installed on the Dreamy Pink Vivo X20, while the company’s Funtouch OS comes out of the box here. There are two SIM card slots offered inside of this phone, and the device sports two 12-megapixel shooters on its back. A single 12-megapixel camera is included on the phone’s front side, and it’s also worth noting that this smartphone sports a 3.5mm headphone jack.
