Meiigoo has unveiled the design of the Meiigoo Mate10 quite recently, and now the company shared a first promo video for its upcoming smartphone. If you decide to check out the embedded video down below, you will be greeted by a hands-on look at the Meiigoo Mate10, and the video itself run for a bit more than one minute. In this video, you will get a closer look at the phone’s design, while the company also shows off a part of the phone’s UI as well.
As you can see, the Meiigoo Mate10 is heavily inspired by Huawei’s ‘Mate 10’ lineup of smartphones, especially the back side of this smartphone. On the back of the device, you will see a vertically-aligned dual camera setup, while that camera strip with a slightly different color shade than the rest of the phone is also included, just like on the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. A fingerprint scanner lies on the back of this phone as well, as does the company’s branding. The Meiigoo Mate10 is made out of metal and glass, and its backside is slightly curved. The device has no physical or capacitive keys on the front, as it utilizes on-screen buttons, and the bezels on this phone are not exactly thick, but they’re not as thin as the ones on the Huawei Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro, though that was to be expected, as this will be a budget phone.
The company had compared the Meiigoo Mate10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro specs already, so we pretty much know what to expect in the spec department as well. The Meiigoo Mate10 will be fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek, while the phone will sport a 5.72-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display. 16 and 5-megapixel snappers will be included on the back of the phone, while 13 and 5-megapixel cameras will be placed on the front side of the device. Meiigoo has also decided to equip this handset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, while the phone will sport a 3,500mAh non-removable battery on the inside. We also know that the device will cost $239.99 when it becomes available, though we’re still not sure when will that happen, even though Meiigoo says that it will happen soon.
