The Elephone U and Elephone U Pro are the company’s newest smartphones, and Elephone has just released two new promo videos for these handsets. If you check out the embedded videos down below, you will be able to see the Elephone U Pro’s unboxing video, and a hands-on with the Elephone U. Now, in terms of the design, these two handsets are basically identical, which is probably why Elephone did not go overboard with promo videos.
The first video that is embedded down below, the Elephone U Pro’s unboxing video, will let you check out the design of the device, while you’ll also be able to find out what comes in the retail box. In the box, you will get a Type-C charging / data cable, and a quick charge adapter. A regular silicone case for the phone is also included in the box, while you’ll also get a screen protector, some paperwork, and a SIM ejector tool. The second video down below lets you check out several color variants of the Elephone U, Black, Blue, and Pink color variants. On top of that, Elephone shows us a part of the software on the device in the video, while the company lets you check out the device from various angles as well. Both of those videos are about one and a half minute long, in case you were wondering.
The Elephone U and U Pro are the company’s first smartphones to sport a curved display. Both phones ship with a fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) OLED panel, and both devices feature two 13-megapixel snappers on their back sides. An 8-megapixel front-facing shooter is implemented in both devices as well, while both phones offer two SIM card slots as well. The Elephone U is fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core SoC by MediaTek, while the Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the Elephone U Pro. The Elephone U Pro actually offers wireless charging, which is something you won’t get on the Elephone U. The Elephone U is currently priced at $389.99, while the Elephone U Pro costs $459.99, and we’re talking about 6GB RAM variants of these two phones, as their 4GB RAM counterparts are not yet available.
