Huawei MediaPad M5 10 (Pro) Leaks With Official Folio Cover

The Huawei MediaPad M5 10 / MediaPad M5 10 Pro images have just surfaced, courtesy of Roland Quandt. That very same source revealed that Huawei plans to introduce three MediaPad M5 tablets in the near future, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8, M5 10 and M5 10 Pro. The MediaPad M5 10 and M5 10 Pro will sport the same design it seems, which is why there’s only one device pictured in the gallery down below. There’s also a good chance that the MediaPad M5 8 will look similar, if not identical, but be smaller, of course.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 10 and MediaPad M5 10 Pro will, according to the source, be made out of metal, while it will ship with 4GB of RAM, the former will sport 32GB of internal storage, while the latter will come with 64GB of native storage. The two devices will sport a display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, and their main camera will be located in the upper-left corner of their back sides. Huawei’s logo will be included on the front, as will a fingerprint scanner. Bezels on the MediaPad M5 10 / M5 10 Pro are not exactly all that thin, but they’re not that thick either, especially considering we’re looking at a tablet(s) here. In the gallery, you will not only be able to see the device(s) itself, but its official Keyboard Folio Cover as well. The Huawei M5 10 Pro is allegedly called ‘Cameron Pro’ internally, that is its codename, while the ‘Cameron’ codename is attached to the MediaPad M5 10, according to some previously-shared info. The Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro will, allegedly, arrive in a 4G LTE variant only, and it will be priced at €520 in Europe, while the MediaPad M5 10 will be available in both Wi-Fi and 4G LTE variants, and cost around €420. Android 8.0 Oreo is expected to come pre-installed on all MediaPad M5 variants, along with Huawei’s Android skin, Emotion UI 8.0.

Chances are that Huawei plans to introduce all of those MediaPad M5 tablets at the same time, and it is possible that they will be announced during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, which starts in a couple of days. The Huawei MediaPad M5 will be a direct successor to the MediaPad M3 which was announced back in September 2016, so it has been quite some time since Huawei introduced a tablet. The Huawei P20 and P20 Plus will be announced at a separate event in March, so chances are that all three MediaPad M5 tablets will make an appearance in Barcelona, at MWC 2018.
