Huawei P20 Lite Leaks In Images & Video, Dimensions Revealed

The Huawei P20 Lite has been leaking for quite some time now, and now a number of renders of the device surfaced, along with a video which is showing off the phone’s design. Tiger Mobiles and @OnLeaks partnered up in order to deliver this info, so read on if you’re interested. Now, it seems like the Huawei P20 Lite will have considerably thinner bezels than its predecessor, while the device will ship with a notch at the top of its display, as some previous leaks suggested.

The phone’s display will sport rounded corners, while the device will be made out of metal and glass. Interestingly enough, its back side will not be curved, even though it seems like a 2.5D curved glass may be applied to it, same goes for the front side of the device. A fingerprints canner will be included on the back of the Huawei P20 Lite, while a vertically-aligned dual camera setup will be included on the back side of this smartphone as well. Huawei’s branding is visible on the back of the phone as well, while the device’s frame is made out of metal. All the physical keys are included on the right-hand side of the Huawei P20 Lite, while a SIM card tray lies on the left. At the bottom of the device, you will notice a Type-C USB port, which is flanked by a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the phone’s loudspeaker. The phone’s sides are curved, which will probably help with the in-hand feel.

The source says that the phone’s display will be 5.7-inches big, approximately, while the phone will measure 148.6 x 71.2 x 7.4mm, and considering that its camera setup will protrude on the back, it will be 8.4mm thick at its thickest point. Chances are that the phone will sport an 18:9 display aspect ratio, or at least something close to it, while that notch at the top of its display will almost certainly affect the phone’s display resolution. Huawei actually started sending out press invites for its March 27 event in Paris, France, which is where the company will announce its P-series flagships, the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus, though it is also possible that the P20 Lite may be introduced at that event as well.
