BLUBOO has just shared a couple of new teaser images for its upcoming BLUBOO S2 smartphone. Back in September last year, BLUBOO actually said that the BLUBOO S2 is coming, but the company has changed its design since then, as the phone will sport a rotating camera which will serve as the phone’s main and secondary shooter, which differs from the design that BLUBOO shared earlier. BLUBOO also announced that the BLUBOO S2 will launch at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), that announcement came at the end of last month, and now the company lets us take a closer look at some new images of the device, read on.
If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will be able to see two new teaser images of the BLUBOO D2, neither of which show us a full design of the BLUBOO S2, unfortunately. It is easy to nice, however, that the phone will ship with really thin bezels, and that is actually something that our contact in BLUBOO confirmed as well. It seems like the device will sport a single camera on the back, which will be rotatable, while our contact at the company also said that the device will sport one of Sony’s sensors which has been verified by Carl Zeiss, and based on the provided info, we’re looking at a 21-megapixel sensor here. An octa-core processor will fuel the BLUBOO S2, though we still do not know SoC exactly, it’s quite probably one of MediaTek’s mid-range offerings, the Helio P25 maybe, or something of the sort. In addition to that, you can expect to see 6GB of RAM included in the package as well.
That is more or less all the info that our source shared, we’ll have to wait for the company’s official announcement in order to get all the info, though there’s a chance that BLUBOO may release some new info before the phone’s announcement. This handset will be announced on February 26 at MWC, which is the first official day of the tradeshow, and BLUBOO will show off the BLUBOO S2 at MWC, so if you end up being in the neighborhood, you will be able to find BLUBOO at Hall 7, booth 7K78.
