Video: New Galaxy Note 9 Concept Handset Has No Bezels

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2018, and while we’re waiting for more info about the phone, a YouTube channel called ‘Concept Creator’ has released a concept design of the device. Do keep in mind that this is not a leak of the phone, or anything of the sort. Having said that, the design video has been embedded down below, if you’d like to check it out, and we’re here to talk more about it, read on.

The design that Concept Creator released is a bit optimistic, but nice-looking, this handset is made out of metal and glass, both its front and back sides are curved, and the phone sports a vertically-aligned dual camera setup on the back. A Type-C port is placed at the bottom of the device, along with the phone’s loudspeaker, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the S Pen stylus. A fingerprint scanner is not located on the back of the phone, nor below the phone’s display, but instead, we’re looking at an in-display fingerprint scanner here. The power / lock button lies on the right, while you will find volume up, volume down and Bixby buttons on the left-hand side of the device. The display takes up the whole front side of this concept phone, there are basically no bezels here, while the phone’s earpiece is placed in the top portion of the display, as are the phone’s sensors and its front-facing camera, but a notch is not there. It is also worth noting that the display is curved on the sides, which is something we’re used to seeing from Samsung.

So, all in all, the phone’s back side looks quite realistic, as do its sides, but the completely bezel-less display is something we probably will not see on the Galaxy Note 9, the phone will almost certainly sport some bezels. In the provided video, the source actually shown off blue, black and red-colored Galaxy Note 9 concept, though there was not mention of specs, at all, which makes sense considering this is a just a concept phone. The source did mention a Snapdragon SoC in the video, though, but that’s more or less it. The real Galaxy Note 9 will differ from this one, for sure. In any case, the Galaxy Note 9 is expected to land in the third quarter of the year, probably in August, and we’ll see a ton of rumors and leak until then.
