Ulefone has just released a new promo video in which the company essentially promotes Google Lens. Google has made Google Lens available within the Google Photos app quite recently, which essentially means that the feature will work with any Android phone which has Google Photos installed, and Ulefone wants to make sure that its consumers know that you can use Google Lens on Ulefone phones as well.
So, what is Google Lens? It’s a piece of software which uses AI in order to scan images, and give you more info based on that. So, for example, you can use Google Lens to ‘scan’ your sneakers, and expect some more info about them in return. Google Lens is not perfect, of course, there’s plenty of work to be done, but it should become more capable as time goes by, as it will learn based on usage, both your usage, and usage of other people around the world. Now, in Ulefone’s ad, which is embedded down below, and available via YouTube, the company also demonstrates how to use Google Lens, using one of its smartphones. From Google Photos, you can find an image you’d like to know more about, then hit the Google Lens icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the display, and soon after you’ll get more info about that image, if Google Lens is able to find something, that is. Ulefone first used the Amazon Alexa speaker to demonstrate Google Lens, which was recognized without a problem.
As a second example, Ulefone scanned an image of a war airplane, then some fruit, and so on. All in all, you can identify products, landmarks, buildings, plants, animals, and a ton of other stuff using Google Lens, and if you’re unsure how to use it, feel free to check out the video provided down below, as this tutorial applies for pretty much every Android smartphone that has Google Photos installed. Now, in addition to releasing this new promo video, Ulefone also mentioned that it is currently hosting a sale on AliExpress, which is something we’ve reported earlier, so follow the provided link if you’d like to get more info.
