Huawei P20, P20 Lite, & P20 Pro Press Renders Leak

Huawei P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro press renders have leaked showing off what is the best look yet at Huawei’s upcoming handsets at least a couple of weeks before Huawei plans to officially announce the three new phones, which is supposed to happen at the end of March at a company press event. Beyond providing a look at the phones with more detail than previous rumors especially so close to an unveiling, the leak also serves to add more proof to the naming of the at least one of the phones – the P20 Pro, which was originally suspected to be the P20 Plus.

That said this wouldn’t be the first time that the name “P20 Pro” has been thrown around and in fact it’s been thought of as the official name for the better part of a few weeks to a month, however this does help to solidify it as the name. Also present in the press renders is the notch that had been rumored and leaked prior to today, which is yet another element that consumers can more or less expect for Huawei’s upcoming P series lineup as this is more evidence that it is being used in the design. The P20, which you can see in the image above, shows no signs of a third camera sensor, and as has been rumored more recently as well the only device in the series that will be carrying the third camera sensor on the back will be the P20 Pro, which you can see in the second image in the gallery below.

Worth noting is that Huawei has kept the fingerprint sensor on the front for both the P20 and the P20 Pro, while the P20 Lite moves the fingerprint sensor to the back. Last year’s P10 series devices also had the fingerprint sensor on the front so it seems Huawei was keen on keeping this particular detail of the phone’s design the same as last year. So far it’s not known entirely where the device will officially launch, though it has recently been confirmed by Vodafone UK that it will be selling all three models of the P20, which means it’ll likely hit other carriers too. All three phones will come in Black, and at least one other color – Blue, though it is worth noting that the Blue on the P20 Lite is different from the Blue on the P20 and P20 Pro.
