The Huawei P20 series is being shown off in all the available colors along with a hefty list of specs information just weeks ahead of Huawei’s official announcement for the upcoming phones. The P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro have all been shown off through press render leaks prior to now, but these are some extremely high-res images and, before today the Pink Gold color of the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Lite had not been seen. This gives what seems like a first look at this third color for both phones, and in addition to them there are high-res images of the Black and Blue colors as well as the Black, Blue, and Twilight colors of the Huawei P20 Pro.
The renders also show off the phones from all angles so there’s no question on where the buttons are or what ports are included with each phone. Everything is now out in the open in terms of design and while some things are certainly new, like the use of the notch at the top of the display on all three phones, some little details are carry-overs from the P10 series such as the small bit of red accent you can see on the power button for all three models, which is something that was present on both the Huawei P10 and the Huawei P10 Plus.
In terms of the specs, the leak states that Huawei is using the Kirin 970 CPU in both the P20 and the P20 Pro and both phones will come with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,440. The P20 will reportedly come with a 3,400mAh battery while the P20 Pro will come with a battery that has a capacity of 4,000mAh, and according to leaked manual details the phones will come with a dual SIM card tray but no memory expansion slot is mentioned, which may suggest that it’s not possible to expand the storage for Huawei’s P20 series devices. There’s no actual internal storage mentioned here so it’s still unknown how much memory you’ll have to store apps and other media on the device, and the leak doesn’t mention any information about the specs regarding the P20 Lite. That said it does mention pricing for Europe, which is said to be €369 for the Huawei P20 Lite, €679 for the P20, and €899 for the P20 Pro.
