OPPO R15 & R15 Dream Mirror Edition Specifications Leak

OPPO had already released quite a few official images of the OPPO R15, and now the phone’s specifications surfaced. It is worth noting that the OPPO R15 was not announced just yet, despite the fact that OPPO already shared a number of images of the device. Now, this new leak shares specs of both the OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition, not only the regular R15 variant.

Before we begin, it is worth noting that both R15 variants have been certified in China by both TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) and 3C authority, and OPPO is hinting at a March 14 announcement for these two phones, which means that both of them may arrive tomorrow. Now, based on the leaked spec sheet, and info shared by TENAA, the OPPO R15, and R15 Dream Mirror Edition will be almost identical. These two handsets sport different batteries, processors, and glass, but other than that, they seem to be identical in the spec department. The OPPO R15 will be fueled by the MediaTek’s Helio P60 64-bit octa-core SoC, while the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition will come with the Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor. The OPPO R15 will include a 3,450mAh battery and 2.5D curved glass on its front and back, while the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition will sport a 3,400mAh battery, and 3D curved glass on both its front and back sides.

Now, both of these smartphones will ship with a 6.28-inch fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) AMOLED display, while both of them will include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. Android 8.1 Oreo will come pre-installed on these smartphones, along with OPPO’s ColorOS 5.0. 16 and 5-megapixel snappers (both will have f/1.7 aperture) will be included on the back of the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition, while a 20-megapixel selfie camera will be included on both devices. Both devices will include VOOC Flash Charge fast charging technology, which is amongst the fastest battery-charging technologies out here. These two phones will look the same as well, the only difference comes down to glass that OPPO will use, one phone will sport 2.5D curved glass, while the Dream Mirror Edition will ship with 3D curved glass, as already mentioned.
