Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Leaks Again Without A Display Notch

The alleged Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S has just surfaced yet again, following several images which popped up before the weekend. Two new images have surfaced, and while the front side of the phone looks identical to the one that surfaced before the weekend, the back side does not, but this is not the first time this back side surfaced, as we’ve seen quite a few conflicting leaks when it comes to the Mi MIX 2S.

As you can see, the device sports really thin bezels around its display, it does have a rather thin ‘chin’ below the display, while its side and top bezels are equally thin. A display notch is not present here at all, despite the fact some other leaks suggested that the phone will sport a front-facing camera display notch in the top-right corner. All the physical keys are included on the right-hand side of this smartphone, while its SIM tray probably lies on the left, even though its left side is not pictured in the leaked images. The phone’s display sports rounded corners, while there are two cameras included on the back of the device. The positioning of this dual camera setup is identical to the one on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, these two cameras are vertically-aligned, and an LED flash lies in-between them. A fingerprint scanner is also located on the back of this device, and it seems like the phone is made out of metal and glass, though there’s also a chance that this is ceramic.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be announced on March 27, that is something Xiaomi already announced. The company also confirmed that the device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, while it will ship with MIUI 9 OS. Chances are that this handset will ship with a 6.01-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) AMOLED display, and if leaks are accurate, it will come in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. It is also possible that the Mi MIX 2S ends up supporting wireless charging, as Xiaomi joined the WPC a while back, and that is a feature that leaked firmware was touting as well. The Mi MIX 2S will be announced later this month, which probably means that the Mi 7 will not arrive anytime soon, but we’ll see.
