Audeara has launched its headphones that are boasting an always-perfect sound, and its claim seems to be backed by the fact that the headphones come with a built-in hearing test that will seek to analyze the level of hearing loss that each person has encountered and adjust the audio details based on the results of the test so that the sound quality is personalized for each individual user, which would in turn deliver that “perfect sound” since it was tailored to the person’s unique hearing.
The Audeara headphones have more going for them than just a hearing test that helps you get the most of the audio quality from them. They also boast full fidelity sound, as well as a comfortable over the ear design with big padded ear cushions, and they come in three different color options that include an all-black, a white, and what looks like a gunmetal color. There’s no mention of a U.S.-based release just yet but Audeara will be selling these in the UK for £299, so the headphones won’t exactly come cheap. That said the price is not too high as there are many headphones which come to market at a higher cost. Worth mentioning is that while these aren’t technically being sold within the U.S., Australian Audeara is shipping these headphones globally, and these will set you back $499 USD if you buy them and have them shipped out, though shipping is free.
Officially these headphones are called the ‘A-01’ and they can be connected in one of two ways – either through Bluetooth or through the included 3.5mm audio port. The headphones also feature Active Noise Cancellation, and like other headphones which come with these traits the battery life will vary depending on how you use them. For instance, you’ll get the longest battery life if you use the 3.5mm audio port and a necessary cable, but if you turn on the ANC then you’ll get about 66 hours of battery life out of them before needing to recharge. If you use the Bluetooth but no ANC, then the battery life is depleted to around 45.5 hours, and if you use both the Bluetooth and the ANC then it drops to around 25.5 hours. The earcups also fold in so you can pack and store them more easily, and they charge via micro USB.
