The BLUBOO S3 is the company’s newest smartphone, and BLUBOO has just released a new video via its official YouTube channel, in which the company tests the battery of that handset, its 8,500mAh battery. This video has a duration of about four minutes, and the company actually did a 4-hour battery test on a device, putting it in different scenarios, so that you can see how much battery each of those scenarios take, like playing music, for example.
Now, the first test the company performed is music-related, the company started playing music with the display on (and brightness at 100 percent), and left the phone run that way for an hour. After the time passed, the phone was left with 99 percent of battery left. The second test BLUBOO performed using the QQ app, which is quite popular in China, we’re looking at half an hour of QQ voice call here. The BLUBOO S3’s battery dropped from 99 percent to 97 percent after the QQ test, after which BLUBOO decided to fire up video recording on the device for one hour. The phone’s battery dropped from 97 percent to 94 percent after one hour of voice recording, and the display was on the whole time, same goes for every other test that the company performed on the device. The third test includes video playback for one hour, and that didn’t exactly hurt the battery that much either, battery charge declined only 3 percent, as it stood at 91 percent after an hour of video playback.
Now, the last test BLUBOO performed on the device includes playing PUBG (game) for one hour. Gaming usually hurts the battery the most, which was the case here as well, but it didn’t exactly drain it at all, quite the contrary, the battery stood at 84 percent after an hour of PUBG, so it dropped from 91 percent to 84 percent, only 7 percent. That more or less concludes this test, and if you’re interested in getting the BLUBOO S3, you should know that it packs in 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and comes with a 6-inch fullHD+ display. The phone is priced at $169 at the moment, and you can get it from TomTop (link is included down below), where you’ll find more info about the phone itself.
