Gold-Colored Xiaomi Mi 6X Surfaces In Hands-On Video

The Xiaomi Mi 6X will be announced tomorrow in China, and now the phone’s hands-on video has surfaced. This video has popped up on Weibo (Chinese social network), and it has a duration of 9 seconds. This video will show the phone’s design once again, while you will be able to see a part of the device’s UI as well. Needless to say, Xiaomi’s MIUi skin is installed on top of Android when it comes to the Mi 6X, while Xiaomi will probably re-release the Mi 6X as the Mi A2 with stock Android in about a month or two, as part of the Android One project.

Having said that, you can check out this video by following the source link down below, and as you can see, this is the Gold color variant of the Xiaomi Mi 6X, which comes with white-colored bezels on the front. The device is made out of metal, it sports a dual camera setup on the back (vertically aligned), while an LED flash is placed in-between those two cameras. The back side of the device is slightly curved, and the phone’s bezels are not that thick, this device resembles the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus and Redmi Note 5 Pro, it even comes with that same display size. The Xiaomi MI 6X will sport a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, while it will be available in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants it seems, and several storage options will be available as well. Xiaomi had already confirmed that the most powerful variant of the phone will feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, and the company has also confirmed that the phone will sport a 20-megapixel camera on its front.

Xiaomi had shared official Mi 6X renders not long ago, confirming the phone’s design, and all of its color options. The MI 6X will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo it seems, while it will sport 12 and 20-megapixel cameras on its back side, if leaks are to be believed. The device will also offer two SIM card slots on the inside, while a 2,910mAh or 3,000mAh battery capacity will also be included in the package.

UPDATE: second hands-on video has surfaced as well, in the meantime, and has been embedded down below.
