Reservations for the device are expected to kick off a week after the phone gets announced, and the device will become available for purchase (in Korea) in mid-May. It was also confirmed, according to the source, that the LG G7 will be available through all three major carriers in South Korea.
The LG G7 will, allegedly, be the very first smartphone which will ship with an M-LCD display, and that display tech is, according to the provided info, 35-percent more energy efficient than a regular LCD panel. M-LCD panels also cost significantly less than OLED panels, but their quality is quite similar, at least that’s what the report claims. The LG G7 will also ship with AI features, similar to those found in the LG V30S ThinQ, in case you were wondering.
