Evan Blass has just posted a new tweet in which he claims that LG will introduce the V35 ThinQ (codenamed Emma) around the same time as the LG G7 ThinQ (codenamed Neo/Judy). That’s not all, though, Mr. Blass has also said that the LG V40 ThinQ (codenamed Storm) is in the company’s plans, and that it will be announced in the late summer / early fall, that will essentially be the company’s flagship for the second half of the year, as the LG V30 was last year.
Now, we do not have any info regarding the LG V40 ThinQ at the moment, but we did release a ton of info regarding the LG G7 ThinQ and the V35 ThinQ, exclusively, so we basically know what to expect in that regard. The LG G7 ThinQ is basically the company’s all-new flagship smartphone, and the successor to the LG G6 which was announced in the first half of last year. It is still unknown when the phone will become official, but we do know what it will look like. The device will sport a display notch, and it will have really thin bezels on the top and bottom, almost non-existent. The phone will be available in Aurora Black, Platinum Gray, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue (Matte), and Raspberry Rose color variants. A vertically-aligned dual camera setup will be included on the back of the device, right above the phone’s fingerprint scanner. The back side of the phone will be curved, and the device will utilize on-screen navigation keys. The LG G7 ThinQ will arrive with a great focus on AI, hence the ThinQ moniker. The LG G7 ThinQ’s camera will be one of its main selling points, and it will utilize AI as well. The G7 ThinQ’s camera will ship with ‘AI Cam’ which will offer four ‘enhanced filter options’, in order to boost your images. You can read more about the LG G7 ThinQ features by clicking here.
Now, as far as the LG V35 ThinQ is concerned, that phone will arrive with a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display, and two 16-megapixel rear-facing cameras. We’re looking at a similar camera setup as on LG’s previous devices, one standard lens, and one wide-angle lens. The main camera will include a f/1.6 aperture lens, in case you were wondering, while ‘AI Cam’ will be a part of this package as well, just like on the LG G7 ThinQ. We’ve actually released a ton more info regarding the LG V35 ThinQ, so click here if you’d like to know more.
