New Renders Reveal Different Colors Of Moto E5, E5 Plus

Press renders of the Moto E5 Plus and the Moto E5 have been leaked by industry insider Roland Quandt earlier today. These renders provide information regarding some of the color variants of the two devices. Based on the leaked images, it seems that the Moto E5 Plus will be available in gold and black color options. Another industry insider, Evan Blass, has already leaked a press render of the Moto E5 Plus in light blue with a glossy finish on the back. Meanwhile, the product renders at hand also show that the Moto E5 will likely be available in gold and gray color options, with the latter featuring a black front.

Aside from the new color options, the recently leaked press renders show a design similar to that seen in other previously released hands-on images and supposed depictions of the upcoming handsets. The new leak still shows that the Moto E5 Plus will have two cutouts on its rear panel, although the smartphone will only sport one rear camera. On the other hand, the Moto E5 will have a single cutout on the back. Below the rear camera of the two handsets is a conventional LED flash and the logo of the smartphone manufacturer. Both Android devices appear to be equipped with an 18:9 display and have front-facing flash units as well.

Previous reports have also provided some information regarding the specifications of both smartphones. The devices are expected to sport a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440 by 720 pixels. The Moto E5 will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset from Qualcomm and boast a 13-megapixel rear camera. Recent leaks also state that the handset will include a 4,000mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Moto E5 Plus will likely be equipped with the Snapdragon 430 SoC and a 16-megapixel rear camera. The device’s front-facing camera should have an 8-megapixel sensor, whereas both are expected to ship with Android 8.0 Oreo pre-installed, and previous reports claim that the Moto E5 will support software features like Moto Action, Moto Display, and Moto Key.
