OnePlus 6 To Be Exclusive To Amazon In India: Report

It seems like the OnePlus 6 will be an Amazon exclusive in India. This information comes from Gadgets360, and it’s allegedly based on an official teaser video which was not shared in the article itself. In any case, this is not surprising, at all, as the company’s previous devices were sold exclusively by Amazon in India. That being said, the OnePlus 6 is expected to arrive in the near future, the company had shared a number of teasers thus far, and all we’re waiting for at this point, is an official release date.

The OnePlus 6 will probably launch globally first, after which it will become available in both China and India, though chances are it will become available in those two countries soon after its global launch. The company already confirmed that the device will sport a display notch, and that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor. The company also said that the most powerful version of the phone will ship with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, though you probably won’t be able to expand that storage via a microSD card. The company is expected to introduce three variants of the OnePlus 6, at least if rumors are to be believed. The OnePlus 6 will arrive in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, 6GB RAM model will be available in both 64GB and 128GB storage flavors, while an 8GB RAM model will ship with 256GB of storage, as already mentioned.

Evan Blass shared an image of the device a while back as well, and if that info is to be believed, the OnePlus 6 will sport a completely different back side compared to the OPPO R15. The device’s frame will be made out of metal, but it will also include a wood-like back. A dual camera setup will be included in the device as well, and those two cameras will be vertically-aligned. A fingerprint scanner will sit right below the phone’s main cameras, and an alert slider will include some new functionality in the OnePlus 6, while it will be redesigned as well, it seems. It is possible that the OnePlus 6 may launch by the end of April, if not, then it will probably arrive in early May.
