The alleged Xiaomi Mi 7 leaked yesterday, and now two new real-life images have surfaced. Having said that, these two images do not show the phone’s front or back sides, instead, you get to see the bottom of the device, and its right side. As you can see in the first image down below, a 3.5mm headphone jack is not placed on the bottom of the device, and it most certainly is not included on the top either, as the company has no intention of including it at all, same as on the Xiaomi Mi 6, and a number of other devices since then, but you will get a Type-C to 3.5mm port dongle in the box, though.
Looking at the images down below, you will also notice that the phone is made out of metal (or ceramic) and glass, while a bottom-firing speaker is included here as well. A power / lock, volume up and volume down keys sit on the right-hand side of the phone, while a SIM card slot is probably located on the left, though the phone’s left side is not shown in these two images. If you take a look at the second image down below, you will notice that the device sports a vertically-aligned dual camera setup, which protrudes a bit, just like a number of other leaks suggested thus far. We have already seen a similar setup on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, and the Mi MIX 2S, so we pretty much know what to expect. An LED flash will probably be placed in-between those two cameras, as was the case on the two devices that we’ve mentioned earlier. The device that surfaced combines silver frame, and a white back, glass is probably included on the back, as already mentioned, while we’re still not sure if its frame will be made out of metal or not, but it sure looks like glossy metal.
The Xiaomi Mi 7 was expected to arrive in April, but chances are it will not, as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S was launched last month, and it’s unlikely that Xiaomi will opt to introduce two high-end phones in such a short time span. The Xiaomi Mi 7 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC, while it will sport a smaller display than the Mi MIX 2S, which means we may get a 5.6 or a 5.7-inch panel on the Mi 7, though we’re only guessing. That display will offer a fullHD+ resolution, most probably, and most rumors claim that the device will sport a display notch, but it remains to be seen if there’s any truth to that.
