Alleged Nubia Z18 Scores 280,085 Points On AnTuTu

It seems like the upcoming Nubia Z18 has just surfaced on AnTuTu. If you take a look at the provided image down below, you will be able to see a screenshot which shows off alleged AnTuTu results of the Nubia Z18 flagship. According to this benchmark, the Nubia Z18 will pack in really powerful internals, as the phone managed to hit 280,085 points on AnTuTu, overall, which beats the Mi MIX 2S’ score (273,741 points), and also the ASUS ZenFone 5Z’s (274,499 points).

Now, both Xiaomi’s and ASUS’ flagships are fueled by the same processor, the Snapdragon 845, and chances are that the Nubia Z18 will ship with that chip as well. The Nubia Z18 is also expected to pack in 8GB of RAM, in addition to the Snapdragon 845, though a 6GB RAM variant is also a possibility. The device is rumored to come with a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, and a 3,350mAh battery. The device will sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, quite probably, and really thin bezels. Speaking of bezels, Nubia did tease the arrival of “Full Screen 3.0”, which suggests that bezels will be even thinner on the company’s upcoming flagships, and as part of that teaser, the company suggested that a new phone is coming as well. Nubia did not say when will this press event take place, but the Nubia Z18 Mini was announced already, and the Nubia Z18’s predecessor, the Nubia Z17, was announced back in June last year, so it is possible that Nubia is aiming or a June Nubia Z18 press conference.

It is also worth noting that the alleged Nubia Z18 surfaced online quite recently, its real-life image did, actually. If that leak is to be believed, the device will sport a curved display, and it will have basically no bezel on the sides or above the display. That image, unfortunately, did not show off the lower portion of the device, so we’re not sure what to expect below the phone’s display, but some bezel will be included there, almost certainly. The Nubia Z17s arrived a while back with a 90.36-percent screen-to-body ratio, while Lenovo teased its Z5 handset which will have at least 95-percent screen-to-body ratio, so Nubia is also expected to step up, and trim down those bezels, as that company’s flagships usually have extremely thin bezels.
