OnePlus had introduced the OnePlus 6 in London yesterday, the phone launched in China earlier today, and along with regular variants of the phone, OnePlus has also introduced a special edition Avengers variant of the OnePlus 6. This variant of the phone offers comes with a different back cover compared to the three regular variants, while it also sports Avengers branding on the back, as expected.
So, in terms of specs, this variant of the phone is identical to the most powerful version of the regular OnePlus 6 model, in other words, it comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the rest of its specs are the same across all models. The Avengers edition of the OnePlus 6 comes with a “custom 3D aramid fibre-textured glass body, with Gorilla Glass 5 coating”. Gold-colored Avengers logo is included on the back, and the phone’s alert slider comes in that very same color, while the rest of the phone is black. This phone comes with a custom case made for it, it’s shaped in for of Iron Man’s mask, to a degree, as you can see in the gallery down below. It is also worth noting that those of you who purchase this variant of the OnePlus 6 will receive a random Avenger medal on the inside, there are six different medals in total, and if you collect all six medals by June 30 of this year, you will be eligible to participate in a draw and win 100,000 Yuan. In case you’re wondering how much this phone costs, well, you can get it for 4,199 Yuan ($875) in China, and the device is expected to launch in India later today as well.
This variant of the OnePlus 6 comes with HydrogenOS, not OxygenOS, as it will be sold in the Chinese market, Indian model will ship with OxygenOS, though. All OnePlus 6 models feature a 6.28-inch FullHD+ Full Optic AMOLED display, and a 3,300mAh battery. Dash Charge fast charging is included in the package, while Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels the OnePlus 6. 16 and 20-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the phone, while a single 16-megapixel shooter sits on the phone’s front side.
