The OnePlus 6 is slated to be unveiled later this week, at an event in London. Though that hasn’t stopped the leaks from coming fast and furious. Case makers are usually pretty quick to get their latest cases out for new smartphones, even before the smartphone has been announced. And that is the case here with the OnePlus 6. Many case makers have already listed their lineups for the OnePlus 6, and now there’s a few more cases appearing that show the renders of the OnePlus 6.
The images shown below, of the cases for the OnePlus 6, do give us a pretty good idea of what to expect with the upcoming device, but it doesn’t give us everything. It’s also worth pointing out that these are made from measurements that OnePlus has shared with case manufacturers ahead of the launch, and the looks are likely from leaks. So it’s important to take all of this with a grain of salt. But it does appear to lineup very closely with previous leaks of the OnePlus 6. Down to the notch on the front, the chin and the vertical cameras in the center of the back of the device. It does look an awful lot like the OPPO R15 that debuted last month in China, but the cameras have been moved around and turned vertical. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor is no longer a circle but a squircle. So there are still some changes here, but not too many.
OnePlus will be debuting the new smartphone on May 17, in London and it’ll be one of the biggest launches of the year. Which is a bit of an interesting thing, seeing as OnePlus is not one of the biggest smartphone makers out there. But it does have a rather large following. Many are expecting it to sport a 6-inch AMOLED display, and have the latest and greatest specs under the hood, including the Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM and potentially, up to 256GB of storage. Essentially being an Android fan’s dream smartphone.
