The OUKITEL K7 is one of the company’s newest smartphones, and in its newest promo video, OUKITEL decided to conduct a battery test on the OUKITEL K7. That video, which is embedded down below, starts off with the OUKITEL having a 1-percent charge left, after which the company decided to plug it in. After five minutes, the devices charged up to 2-percent. Now, the company did not start charging it again, but it decided to show you what this phone can do at this level of battery.
OUKITEL decided to make a phone call at this point, and after an hour and 55 minutes of talking on the phone, the device still had 1-percent of battery left. At that point, OUKITEL decided to charge up the device for 15 minutes in order to show you how long can its battery last at that point. After 15 minutes of charging, the phone’s battery stood at 6-percent, after the company decided to make a video call using WeChat, which required the phone’s display to be powered on all the time, of course. After 33 minutes of video calling, the phone’s battery dropped from 6-percent to 1-percent. This is all very impressive, of course, and there’s a good reason for it, the OUKITEL K7 features a 10,000mAh battery (9V/2A charging). In addition to that, the phone also sports a rather light version of Android, which certainly helps with battery consumption. On top of all that, the device comes with a 6-inch fullHD+ display, which is also a good thing when it comes to battery consumption, as a 2K display would definitely drain the battery more, of course.
The OUKITEL K7 has a rather interesting shape, it looks like a rugged smartphone, even though it’s not exactly rugged. The device also features a leather back, and a set of on-screen buttons on its display. A fingerprint scanner is included on the back of the OUKITEL K7, and the same can be said for its dual camera setup. MediaTek’s MT6750T 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, while the device ships with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The phone features two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM), while you’ll find 13 and 2-megapixel cameras on its back. The phone is not yet available for purchase, but it will be in June, and you can get a chance to win a coupon code and get it for only $99.99 if you subscribe via the link provided down below.
