The Vivo X21i was spotted at Geekbench quite recently, and the device has received its TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) certification as well, it seems. The phone got certified by TENAA a while back, though the listing was not spotted until now. Vivo had actually introduced two variants of the Vivo X21 in the past, so we can consider the Vivo X21i to be the third. The Vivo X21i is similar to the Vivo X21, but there are some differences as well. The Vivo X21i shares the same display as the Vivo X20, same goes for RAM and some other parameters, but it comes with a different SoC it seems.
According to TENAA, the Vivo X21i will sport a 6.28-inch fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, while the phone will include 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which you’ll be able to expand using a microSD card. The phone will be fueled by the Helio P60 64-bit octa-core SoC, compared to the Snapdragon 660 which is included in the Vivo X21 variants. This handset will also include a hybrid dual SIM setup, which means you will be able to use its second SIM card slot in order to expand its internal storage. Android 8.1 Oreo will come pre-installed on the device, while Vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.0 will be included on top of it. 12 and 5-megapixel cameras will be included on the back of the Vivo X21i, while a 24-megapixel unit will be available on the phone’s front side. A fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back of the phone, while a 3.5mm headphone jack will also be a part of the package. Vivo will include the AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip inside of this smartphone, and a 3,200mAh battery will also be a part of the package, along with fast charging.
This phone is expected to arrive in Champagne Gold, Matte Black, and Rose Gold color variants, while it will look basically the same as the Vivo X21. We’re looking at a phone made out of metal and glass here, and as you can see, its bezels are quite thin, while a display notch is also a part of the package.
